Trip To Vashon Island

My class schedule for summer is MTWTh from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, and MW from 5:00 pm to 7:40 pm. On Tuesday after leaving school I shot a call over to my work to see if they were going to be needing me. I was told not today and so I made my way about, trying to shoot a few frames on my RB67 without much luck. I drove over to my girlfriend (Jaclyn's) house and we decided to take a drive out to Ruston Way to take a walk with Leo. On the way out there, somehow the idea came up of taking the ferry over to Vashon Island. Neither of us had ever been on a ferry while WE were driving. We'd taken trips with parents etc, but we didn't really know how things went. So it wasn't 5 minutes later that we were in the line to get on the ferry and being waved on. We paid 18.50 for one vehicle and we drove right on.

Bye Point Defiance!
Mount Rainier, Port of Tacoma, downtown Tacoma.

Vashon here we come.

Had to get her sweatshirt. She was getting chilly on the deck.

Getting closer.

Metering for an RB portrait. I was rushed to get this shot off before we docked.

We found The Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie which was soo cool. Jaclyn wanted to get some iced tea and we were informed to check out their wall with like 90+ jars of different teas, all categorized and were encouraged to open each and smell it. Really fun!

I chose Jamaican Fruit...

And Jaclyn picked Carnation Strong Stem.

We paid. Check out my Steaz Soda!!

Leo went potty.

Then we drove off and found this little beach where we shot a grip of portraits:

And back we went.

We stopped in Ruston for a few more photos...Jaclyn didn't feel comfortable jumping this gap so I had her press the shutter when I did it. This was a digi test shot.

And that's the end of that.

Beginning

I occasionally have a plethora of digital images that I don't feel are worth deleting. Said digital images will reside here. In The Misc. [Life of Andrew M Snyder] blog.

Enjoy.
